Casting and Finishing Services

After you finish carving that wax model, ship it to Whaley Studios in the mailer we will send you, have it cast and polished and sent back to you.

We use a state-of-the-art induction casting system which melts the metal electrically, and casts centrifugally in a totally oxgen-free environment. This creates the densest, cleanest, porosity-free castings you can get in silver, carat golds and platinum. A laser-welding machine can also be used to fuse in and remove any surface porosity.

Additionally, we can have your casting cut off the sprue, and polished beautifully. We will quote you a casting and finishing price for your approval when we receive your wax model. Stone setting is also available.

Want copies of your original? Yes, we do rubber molds and can make duplicates in silver, 14K, 18K and platinum.

In order for us to quote you a price on casting and finishing work to de done, we will need to contact you after receiving your wax model, before any work is begun. We would prefer to speak with you by phone if possible, to discuss your project, and to understand your options. If you approve of the work to be done, and the price quoted, we will immediately start work on your project, and let you know when to expect your finished product.

Shipping and Insurance
Once we have received your model for a quote, we will take full responsibility for your work. When completed, we will insure your finished piece for full replacement value, and ship it to you by whatever shipping method you prefer. We can discuss these options with you when we quote you a price over the phone.
Billing
Once your job is completed, and before it is sent out to you, you will be billed by credit card for all work completed as well as shipping cost. If you are not completely satisfied with your completed work, we will credit your account for the full amount of your purchase upon return of your finished work.
